I was promised a pitch here and after quitting my flat and going full time van life I rang to confirm things but got told that there was no pitch available "because the gates are closed" over the off season. I now have nowhere to go as no other sites take tourers. Avoid this place if you can!! In response to the reply below: I NEVER mentioned a tourer because I never had any intention of buying one. I also did not require a pitch in the summer as I didn't buy my motorhome until September.

Little caravan park realy coming together now. Owner Christine works tirelessly making it a realy nice place to stop. No shortage of friendly help from the regulars on site too. Reccommend.

Nice small caravan site of statics and touring vans. Quiet and very pleasant in the summer months. Nice to see the horses in the neighbouring fields. Boot sale Saturday mornings.

We often go here, not to stay but to go to the Saturday car boot sale which is usually pretty good and cheap. Worth a visit for that !

Very pleasant owner, Handy place to stay with your horses as it is an Equestrian centre also. Very fair price depends on what you want. Close to Ashington ( Northumberland) and the coast. Will definitely be back. Lovely peaceful few days.

Caravan park where many people are permanently living. Only two open electric hookups available amongst per am entry residents. Hospitable hosts with a good rate and gravel pitch. Good place to stay for one while traveling between locations. Would not want to stay here for multiple nights...not much to do nearby. Location untidy and riddled with horse dung. Horse fields directly next to the pitch
